I am discovering as I get older I am having some difficulty remembering when I did what. Time is flying so fast it seems.
Days, weeks, years tend to merge in my memories and I realize, looking back on it all, dates don't really matter. Just don't ask me to remember when.
In the bigger picture, the highlights are the moments I laughed and smiled and my time in those moments become precious.More of my fabulous trifling's can be found on twitter @mailemmm or you can visit my favorite website, HawaiiLegacyBuilders.com. I'm sorry to think that people I care about suffer through hardships. It isn't a pleasant experience to say the least.
The positive is that it doesnt last forever. It's merely a transition. Unfortunately, the time it takes depends on the individual.
I'm happy for those that begin this journey. Trust that it happens only when you are ready.
You will discover how strong you really are and eventually emerge the beautiful spirit you are meant to be, to carry you through the next chapter on your journey.
Everyone goes through this. Having survived my own bump in the road, I can say it was hell trudging the depths of my low points.
In reflection I truly grew. My life got better! Opportunities started showing up and although its a few years later, the light just keeps getting brighter.
I am more grateful for the little joys of everyday moments and have learned to live in the present. Life is truly a gift!
I wish you an amazing New Year! Release all negative energy that hindered your life in anyway and may blessings overflow for you.

It's amazing how similar we all really are. It doesn't matter where you are from or what language you speak. Love brings everyone together.
January 8th, 2014, Lanikai Canoe Club's Sunrise paddling crew was honored to welcome a few paddler's from Ohana Hoe. They usually paddle in Japan and explained how similar there beach in Japan was like Hawaii.
Pacific Ocean neighbor's we all stumbled through our language barriers and smiled and laughed for a fun hour together.
The past few weeks we shared our canoes with a few other friends, Paul from Canada and Peter from Australia. It's wonderful to make friends from all over the world, and truly makes our planet feel smaller when you share a common experience that you both love.
Sending Aloha around the world. Wishing you many wonderful friends on your journey.

The first sunrise of 2014!
I awoke early and headed to my favorite East side beach. I wasn't the only one with the same idea of seeing the dawn of this new year.
I watched hikers walking along the mountain trail with flashlights to get amazing views of this first day, and the beach I arrived at was filled with people. Tripods with fancy cameras lined the shore. Smart camera phone photographers (like me) were also ready to get the shot.
I snapped a few from the beach and then my sunrise paddlers and I set out in our canoes heading East. Just a few minutes later the fiery sun slowly appeared above the horizon.
I couldn't help but watch its ascent through the low lying clouds... Breathtaking! Although, I was paddling a canoe and keeping pace for my fellow crew. Huffing and puffing we all ooo'd and ahhh'd as we continued our heading towards the sun.
Three canoes stopped in the calm ocean and I finally got to capture the beauty that has started off our new year. Happy 2014 everyone! Wishing us all an abundantly prosperous New Year! Hau'oli Makahiki Hou!
Love and Aloha,
