Story behind the photo...I woke up to rain and it was feeling too cold to leave the warmth of my bed.

I hit the snooze button a few too many times. What I thought was ten minutes turned out to be forty minutes. Adrenaline was great to get myself moving and miraculously ready in a flash.

A few moments later, I found myself at the beach in time to capture the amazing moments before sunrise. I have hundreds of photos of the sunrise and each is uniquely different and exquisite.

The rain stopped and I was blessed to enjoy a gorgeous morning on the water with wonderful friends. There were also two rainbows that morning, I didn't take any pictures of it, but I was truly happy to see it, streams of color across the sky. I am smiling just thinking about it.

Life is precious, fill yours with joy. Smile for your day :-)

Dates?

I am discovering as I get older I am having some difficulty remembering when I did what. Time is flying so fast it seems. 

Days, weeks, years tend to merge in my memories and I realize, looking back on it all, dates don't really matter. Just don't ask me to remember when.

In the bigger picture, the highlights are the moments I laughed and smiled and my time in those moments become precious. 

Live a life that makes you truly happy. Don't care what the world thinks! It will become your prison if you choose to live by the standards of others, instead be the happiest You! In the end, that's all that will matter. 

I am of course a rebel at heart! I'm going to do it my own way no matter what. But when I'm gone, at least I will have left my very own interesting story...my legacy. What will your life say about you?
