Cadet Petty Officer 3rd class
It's Official! Congratulations to my son Kekai on his big promotion to E4 in the Kalaheo NJROTC.

He is really serious about a future in the military. As a young, young 4 year old, he was telling everyone, he wanted to grow up and fly jets in the military.

Now that he is participating in the Kalaheo NJROTC program, he thinks he may want to go into law instead. I'm not sure why he changed his mind, but as his mom, I can honestly say, I feel safer with him on the ground.

I'm proud of him no matter what he chooses to do, as long as he loves it.

Follow your passions and everyday of your life, you will live in your dreams.

Moon magic for you <3

I heard something like this a long time ago, but am always reminded at a full moon. "As the moon shrinks, so does all your problems, release them and let go."

The moon truly is a very powerful force; it moves the oceans, it affects our mood and is so mesmerizing. Allow a little magic in your life and wish on the moon to shrink all your worries, and as the stars take center stage in the darkening sky, wish on them to make your dreams manifest into your reality.

Never stop wishing, dreaming, and hoping. It's that belief that has the power to change your world the way you want it to be. Make little changes and start living the life you wish for yourself today and tomorrow you will be even closer to your dreams.

I have always loved the stars! I could spend my life watching them twinkle all night.

This is my favorite time...late at night when the neighborhood is quiet, and most lights are off, I can fall asleep gazing at the moon and stars.

Everyone has struggles, everyone has their own obstacles that they must face so they can learn and grow. We can encourage everyone to be successful by being brave in our own lives.

Lifes lessons don't have to be difficult if you are grateful for the lesson and can share your experience with others that they can learn from it to.

Live in the energy of the life you desire. The universe brings you more of what you want in your life when you live in that energy.

What do you want to happen in your life right now? What do you want to achieve today? Live in that desire as its already happened and watch it become your reality.

Wishes granted!

I know better!

I do know better!

We have all seen this inspirational quote a million times, and like any self evolving spiritual growth spurt it finally hit me-Again! Almost sent me in fits of laughter as I experienced miracle moment after miracle moment.

So simple, truly, your energy that you put out is what will come back to you. Just like an echo, litterally. If I call out happy, happy will find me. If I say opportunity, opportunity finds me. If I say fun, well you get it by now, fun finds me.

So for no reason at all, I put myself through some grumpy, grouchy, not so pleasant energetic emotional states, (and my weird recurring thoughts about shades of gray ocean). I got my simple black and white answer, be the energy that you want to attract and it will find you.

I can tell you to try it, but many of you won't. Just be prepared, one day you will wake up like I did and just laugh at how easy it all could have been. For those of you adventurous spirits, I would start with fun ;)
