This past weekend I volunteered some of my time to participate with the Hawaii Adaptive Paddling Association (HAPA).
A blessing more for me and my fellow paddlers and volunteers. I'm not sure the correct terminology if its disabled, handicapped or in need of special assistance, but each of these special guests lit up and came so filled with life when they were in the canoe and then out on the ocean.
I welled up with tears so many times throughout the day, to see and hear their excitement. They beamed all day with such pure joy that I am truly grateful for the experience.
A life of service is a rewarding life. I'm grateful that I have such a wonderful life, business, and friends that I can help to create joy in their lives. A blessing and an honor to help others.
Wishing you many blessings always.
Love and Aloha,
Maile
